Scholarship for the 1st semester

<Eligibility Requirements>

1. Applicants who were born in a English speaking country.

2. Applicants who have received a four-year of higher education in English in a country where English is the official language, and must submit relevant documents certifying the education.

  • Freshmen can obtain scholarship 6 if the students pass assessment regardless of their language level.

Scholarships will be awarded to candidates recommended by their department who meet the above . According to the results of the department’s examination, however, the actual scholarships can be downward even if you meet the eligibility requirements.

Beneficiaries of Freshmen Scholarship 1~5 are required to assist teaching/Lab within 10 hours per week during the semester.

  • Among candidate of Enrolled Student Scholarship 1~4, those who have received a grade of C or below in any subject during the previous semester
  • Among candidate of Enrolled Student Scholarship 1~4, those GPA for the previous semester is below 3.5

Enrolled Student Scholarship beneficiaries (section Ⅱ) for coming semester and hold the following language proficiency scores

  • TOPIK level 5 or 6

One of the followings;

  • a. Lecture interpretation assist for 5 hours per week
  • b. Korean learning assist for International students for 5 hours per week
  • c. Activities designated by the Dean of Graduate School

Enrolled Student Scholarship beneficiaries (section Ⅱ) for coming semester and hold the following language proficiency scores

  • IELTS 5.5 or above
  • TOEFL iBT 71 or above
  • TOEIC 700 or above

Submit a paper jointly with supervisor as the main or corresponding author to an SCIE, SCOPUS, or SSCI journal.

Upon submission of a proof of paper submission, ICS will be applied to the tuition for the following semester. Note that only one paper per semester will be eligible for this scholarship.
