Yath Sreyvanna, a graduate from the Class of 2013 PSPS Alumni, has currently been working as a Officer at the International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) Cambodia Office. IRRI is an internationally reputed organization responsible for agricultural promotion across the world. The office of IRRI in Cambodia has been promoting farmers and local institutions to cultivate rice with higher yield and quality. Her duty is to perform all the administrative and financial work for the Cambodia Office.

She said that the goal of the IRRI office of Cambodia is quite similar to the goal of the PSPS which is working hard to develop human resources through Saemaul Undong for rural development by providing scholarships to many students from different developing countries.

Vanna began studying at the PSPS in October 2013 and graduated in February 2015. She received a Master of Public Policy in Economic Development and wrote a thesis titled “A Comparative Study on the Impact of Foreign Aid on Economic Development in South Korea and Cambodia.”
