PSPS, Cheong-do Rotary Club, Rotary International District 3700, and Gyeongsan Queen’s Rotary Club, also belonging to District 3700, have signed an MOU to promote the “Saemaul Globalization Professional Human Resources Training Project. 

Dean of PSPS Yi, Chairperson of Cheong-do Rotary Club Kim Byung-Soo, and Chairperson of Gyeongsan Queens Club Kim Eun-Joo met at Sapphire Hall of Chunma Arts Center on August 17, 2022. 

They agreed to bring together the capabilities of the three organizations to establish a cooperative relationship and contribute to regional development, poverty eradication, and shared prosperity through Saemaul Undong.

Under the agreement, two Rotary clubs will provide 27 million won scholarships for PSPS students who will enroll in 2023.

It is expected that students who have acquired academic knowledge and international development know-how of the Saemaul Undong through the "Saemaeul Globalization Specialist Training Project" implemented by the MOU will have synergistic effects if they pursue significant projects such as environmental preservation, education support, and clean water supply.
