On July 21, there was a special lecture by the Presidential Memorial Foundation Park Chung-hee, and a professor from the French university. The lecturer was Dr. Sebastien BERTRAND, History Professor for Preparatory Classes for Grandes Ecoles at Cité scolaire Janson de Sailly (PARIS XVIe). The theme of the lecture was "The Saemaul Undong from the perspective of the French." The professor once again explained the history of the Saemaul Undong to enhance students' understanding, and explained how it can be incorporated into the local community based on the Saemaul Undong and the Saemaul spirit from the French perspective. In addition, it explained how schools educate students on the Saemaul Undong and ODA. Through the lecture, students were able to learn how to apply and practice the Saemaul Undong according to the characteristics of each country through various perspectives.
