International Studies is a dynamic and interdisciplinary field. The curriculum at the School of International Studies (SIS) consists of four specific focuses: 'Global Governance and International Relations', 'Global Business and Economics', 'Global Cultural and Historical Studies', and 'Global Communication'. These divisions encompass the most modern and comprehensive subject matters of International Studies. The courses within each focus are taught by globally-minded faculty within the vicinity of a globally compelled university.

SIS students learn to understand the various cultures of the world, develop a sense of leadership to become globally competent, and address global issues. The curriculum offered at SIS helps students to develop a multidimensional perspective, logical thinking skills, a globalized empathetic rational, and superior language and expression skills. Whether an SIS double major student, or a foreign exchange student at Yeungnam for a semester looking for classes taught in English, the SIS provides the courses necessary to help create global citizens in an ever evolving globalized world.
